Acadia national park

The Cog railway
Situated on Mt Washington, the cog railway is another amazing destination that will prove to be a huge amount of fun for people of all ages and genders. Guests will be able to jump onboard several colourfully decorated locomotives and slowly make their way all the way up the summit of Mt Washington whilst revelling in some simply awe-inspiring views as they do so. The train travels at around 3mph so there is more than enough time to get your camera out and snap some of the best pictures you could ever imagine. The Cog railway travels upwards at roughly a 40 degree angle and will take you up through lush greenery, forests, trees, and mountain ranges as you make your ascent to the top of the iconic mountain.
Mystic Seaport
The mystic seaport is basically an actual living museum showcasing everything you could ever wish to know about the New England Maritime way of life. There are galleries, a preservation shipyard, and even a recreation of a coastal village dating back to the 19th century. You can marvel at boats, lobster cages, tools, fishermen, story tellers, and once again a distinct and stunning coastal setting.
