About Worldee

Worldee is an independent travel website for people planning their own trips. We publish destination guides, ideas for things to do and practical advice on the parts of travel that go wrong most often: packing, hidden costs, safety, car hire and timing.

Who runs Worldee

Worldee is written and edited by Eugene Serbin, who plans the guides, reviews them before they go live and took many of the photos you see here.

Our photos

Many photos on this site were taken on our own trips: the Ukrainian Carpathians, Athens, Venice, Lisbon, Sintra, Porto, Granada, Girona, Belgium, Budapest, Graz and Prague. The rest are licensed stock photos from Pexels.

How we write and update guides

Guides are planned around the questions travellers actually ask, drafted with the help of AI writing tools and then checked by us: we remove invented figures and names and correct what we find. We avoid quoting prices, opening hours and entry rules that change often; where they matter, we tell you to check the official source before you travel. Every guide shows the date it was last updated. Read more in our editorial policy.

We do not accept payment for coverage, and there are no sponsored posts or affiliate links on the site.
